The Grounded Growth Method weaves together yoga, mental health education, and reflective practices to support sustainable self-care and embodied resilience. Offered as a series or a la carte, each workshop adapts to the needs of the group while maintaining a consistent, grounding framework.
There are four components that are thoughtfully built into each workshop:
1. Ground - Establish safety and orientation through somatic awareness and supportive yoga practices.
2. Regulate - Learn and practice nervous-system informed tools (breath, movement, pacing) that support emotional regulation and stress response.
3. Integrate - Combine mental health education, reflection, and insight-building to understand patterns, capacity, and lived experience.
4. Grow - Apply skills toward sustainable life practices such as boundaries, rest, self-regulation, and value-aligned action.
Purpose:
To provide embodied education and practical skills that support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and sustainable growth.
Outcome:
Participants will leave with insight, tools, and practices they can use and adapt to their own lives with choice and flexibility.
What this IS vs. What this ISN’T
What this IS:
- A yoga-based, trauma-informed framework that integrates embodied practice with mental health education
- A educational and experiential approach to self-care, resilience, and sustainable life practices
- A space for skill-building, reflection, and insight that is grounded in awareness of the nervous system
- Designed to support capacity, regulation, and integration on and off of the mat
- Adaptable across varying topics, populations, and settings while maintaining a consistent underlying structure
What this ISN’T:
- NOT psychotherapy or mental health treatment
- NOT coaching or behavior modification
- NOT diagnostic or prescriptive
- NOT a one-size-fits-all practice
- NOT focused on fixing or pathologizing participants
The Grounded Growth Method is educational in nature and supports personal insight and skill development rather than the clinical intervention.
